CSN Stores, a shopping experience

I’ve been offered the opportunity to bring you another review of a product from CSN Stores, and am thrilled to share my opinions on this fabulous retail site with everyone. CSN Stores has over 200 online stores where you can find everything from a platform bed to fantastic fitness equipment to cookware! CSN Stores appears to be budget-friendly, offering some of the most enticing discounts I’ve seen in comparison to similar sites.

I love that free shipping is available for nearly every product on the site, leaving you with more room on your debit or credit card to get the home products you need. With a new home to fill I'm loving that I have more money to spend on the things I need. Check back with Family Treasures soon to see what product I’ll be recommending to you! In the meantime head over to CSN Stores and check them out for yourself.

My First post!!!!!

PhotobucketHello to all,
My name is Ashley and I am hosting the Baby shower Event!! I am Expecting my first child in just 6 short weeks and while trying to bring my nursery together I found It overwhelming at all the new stuff they have out there. I have 12 nieces and nephews and have worked in child care for 3 yrs, but with this being my first I had my own views on what i wanted to do. I'm Really hoping to bring some new products to the table and I hope everyone is as Excited as I am.

Thought I would share a nice Fall dish with everyone to start off the Event!
Yummy Apple Salad.

6 Apples ( I used Gala)
1 package fun size snickers ( about 8)
1 16oz whip cream ( extra if you love whip cream)

(please thaw out your whip cream as package indicates)

wash your apples under cold water and cut into bit size pieces keeping skin on. Place apples into a large bowl. Cut the snickers bars into Small pieces (yes smaller then the bite size it come's in, I normally cut it twice) Add to bowl. Stir in whip cream. Enjoy!!!!!
(if you like it a little sweeter you could add a couple spoon fulls of caramel dip.) :)

Rubbermaid Reveal Mop Giveaway

If you’re in the market for a new spray mop, the Rubbermaid Reveal Mop is an excellent candidate. The Reveal Mop takes a hassle free approach at cleaning by using plush, washable, microfiber pads, and versatile, customizable, refillable solution bottles. It also features a spray trigger which eliminates the need to replace expensive batteries. If you want to save time and money, the Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop is for you!

My Thoughts:
First off, let me just say, it’s going to be impossible to review this product without comparing it to the Swiffer® WetJet. That being said, I actually prefer the Rubbermaid Reveal Mop to the WetJet. The microfiber cloth picks up more dirt as it scrubs your floor. It also picks up a lot of the water, which means your floor dries much faster. With the WetJet, I’ve had problems with there being a film being on the floor afterwards, but not with the Reveal Mop.

Another thing Reveal Mop has over the WetJet, for all you eco-conscious people (of which I am one), the fact that it has a reusable microfiber cloth means you cut down on your waste, unlike the WetJet, which you “throw the mess away” with a chemical-ridden and now dirt-ridden paper cloth. The Reveal Mop’s microfiber cloths can be washed and dried in a washing machine up to 100 times before you ever need to replace it.

Let me tell you about the convenience of putting the cloth on the mop. With the WetJet, I’ve had problems with pushing the edges of the cloth into the little holes, and then, while mopping, the cloth coming off. I spent more time fighting with the WetJet than I did cleaning. With the Reveal Mop, the cloth attaches through a Velcro-like attachment. Just put the cloth on the floor, put mop on cloth, and away you go. Easy, and it doesn’t come off as you’re working.

Now, let’s talk cleaner. With the WetJet, you have to buy their brand of cleaner, use only their stuff, and spend a lot of money doing it. However, with the Reveal Mop, you fill the water bottle with plain water and, if you wish, whatever your preferred cleaning chemical is. If you want to use Pine Sol™, use Pine Sol™. Everything works.

Finally, with the WetJet, the chemical is released through the use of electronics. What happens if, in the middle of mopping, your machine just dies? You can’t finish the job and have to wait for it to recharge. With the Reveal Mop, it works like a manual spray bottle. You squeeze the trigger to release your cleaner. No recharging required, so no need to ever stop until the job’s done.

So, cleaning, convenience, and eco-friendly. Those are the words I would use to describe the Rubbermaid Reveal Mop. Every household should have one of these as it makes mopping easy and even fun.

Tinkerbell anyone?

I don't know about you but the DVD/Blu-Ray release of the new Tinkerbell movie, Tinkerbell and the Great Fairy Rescue, has been long awaited in our home. Every time Lila sees the commercial she has to stop and watch it. Then immediately ask for us to buy it.
Little does she know we bought it last night and are waiting (well trying to wait) for her birthday to give it to her. She is so excited about her upcoming birthday. She asked for and is getting a Tinkerbell themed party. Including fun things like fairy wand snack sticks and refreshing pixie nectar. As well as a few pixie hallow games. I still havent found any of those yet, but I have time.

Ragu - Making Veggies Fun

Let me say this first: my family loves pasta dishes. We love all sorts of pastas, from mac and cheese to chicken parmesan. But a part of me always feels guilty when I feed my children a lot of pasta dishes in a short amount of time, mainly because, while they taste great and my kids love it, it’s also very fattening and it’s not the healthiest choice of dinners out there. Plus, most often, when we have pasta, there is no vegetables included, so we’re basically getting carbs and meat covered in a fattening sauce.

This was the status quo until Ifound out about the new Ragu sauces. Ragú® Old World Style® Traditional Sauce now has 2 servings of veggies in every half cup! Available soon in major retailers nationwide, the healthy, great tasting Ragú® Old World Style® Traditional pasta sauce that is already a kitchen staple has a new, naturally thicker recipe. They have the same great taste as those other sauces we used to use, but now, I don’t feel as guilty when my children eat it. I pair this sauce with whole wheat pasta, and my children don’t know the difference. They get the same great flavor and I get peace of mind that now, my children are eating a more nutritious, well-balanced diet. This is the perfect pasta sauce for all moms, but especially moms who have children that don’t like vegetables. This is a sneaky way to get your children to eat a full serving of vegetables without them even realizing it. And, when they ask for more, you’ll always be more than happy to give it to them.

To be one of the first to taste Ragú® with 2 servings of veggies in every half-cup visit them on facebook.com/ragusauce for more details.

"Disclosure: I was entered for a chance to win a Ragú® prize package in exchange for this post. No monetary exchange took place."

Yoplait Splitz Review & Giveaway

We’re a big yogurt family around here, not so much my husband but the kids and I love it! The brand we buy most often is Yoplait. My toddlers love Yoplait kids and will eat them for every meal if we let them. My favor the sweeter flavors such as peach cobbler, but the kids love any flavor and will devour the fruit flavored ones within minutes, scratch that, within seconds!

So when I was asked to review the new Yoplait Splitz I knew it would probably be a big hit. For me it’s the fact that there are no artificial flavors, sweeteners or high fructose corn syrup, and the biggie, it’s only around 90 calories. Since it’s summertime Yoplait suggests, for an even “cooler” experience, just can pop a Yoplait Splitz in the freezer and in a few hours you can enjoy a cool, creamy cup of authentic frozen yogurt. It comes available in three delicious flavor combinations including Strawberry Sundae, Strawberry Banana Split, and Rainbow Sherbet. I don’t know about you but it sounds yummy and trust me it tastes just as good!!

In addition to my samples of Yoplait Splitz I was provided with a wonderful picnic bundle including a roll up fleece blanket and heavy duty insulated tote. I can't wait for it to cool down a little so we can take our frozen Splitz to the park and enjoy a lovely family outing!! I was also given a unique link to offer my readers a printable coupon* for $0.75 off one package of Yoplait Splitz, simply click here. Yoplait Splitz can be purchased nationwide in a variety of grocery stores and fine retailers. I bought mine at Vons!

*This coupon offer for Yoplait Splitz yogurt is not valid in some states, including California, Idaho, Louisiana, Minnesota, New Jersey, Nevada, North Dakota and Tennessee.
