My Thoughts: This book brings to mind a Facebook status I recently read. Something along the lines of man telling God his plans and God laughing at him. Its stuck with me because many times I am the stupid little man telling God what I want instead of listening to what HE wants.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." -- Jeremiah 29:11
This book brings home these passages. The main character thinks she knows what her path in life is but its not the same path God has already set in motion before her. I love how the author though the main character gently reminds us how wonderful Gods plans are and that even when he gives us sorrow he knows there is also good to come. It’s a love story at the heart of the book and one I would read over and over again.

My thoughts: This is the first children's book I’ve had the pleasure of reviewing, and I cant wait to read more like it! I love how simple the book is yet it packs such a valuable message for everyone not just children. I was able to review the kindle edition of this book and I love that I now have a sweet book with beautiful illustrations to add to our nightly bedtime routine. I will be looking in to the other book ‘Night Night Prayer’ by the same author.

My Thoughts: This is not a book I would normally pick up. I like to read more light and fun books. Life it too heavy to spend my fun time dwelling on unpleasant subjects. That being said I really enjoyed this book. Parts of the book make you laugh out loud and others make you cry. The characters are well developed and real. The book is crafted in such a way that I quickly got lost in the story and was deeply moved by all the emotion the book possessed. The book's messages of love, forgiveness, and healing are truly touching.
